I have been interested in photography for many years using film cameras but since the age of digital it has allowed me greater creativity and brought a greater enthusiasm to my work.
My main interest lies in landscapes but I am not afraid of new challenges as they arise.
This web site compliments my love of the landscape, showing many photographs taken in my home county of West Sussex, with others from Dorset and further a field.
The main objective of my photography is to capture the uniqueness of my local area in all its splendour, and to hopefully inspire people to see the sights for themselves.
With the age of digital, many photographers manipulate their work beyond the original. My pictures have only had minor changes to them, unless otherwise stated. Several of my images feature the moon. These have not been added, but generally have been taken with a longer lens and digitally mastered into the moons original position, to ensure a similar viewing experience to that of human vision.
When adjustments are made, it is always limited to the fine tuning of exposure, colour and or tone.
With the advance in computer software my panoramic images are composites, allowing for larger print sizes with excellent reproduction qualities, but still maintaining the original beauty of the landscape.
